The primary purpose of the Congress is to transfer knowledge from the current generation of leading scientists and engineers to the next generation. Scientific, political, public and corporate views regarding the development of different nuclear issues were presented to provide comprehensive discussions on all sides of the subject. Since it is the youth who will go on to deal with all nuclear prospects and challenges in the future, open and candid commentary from this younger generation was encouraged.
The International Youth Nuclear Congress is a global network of the future generation of professionals in the nuclear field dedicated to:
• Develop new approaches to communicate benefits of nuclear power, as part of a balanced energy mix;
• Promote further peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology for the welfare of mankind;
• Transfer knowledge from the current generation of leading scientists to the next generation and across international boundaries.

To organize forums to engage and inform the general public on secure, safe and peaceful application of nuclear science and technology. Set up programs targeting elementary and secondary school students to boost their interest in nuclear science and technology.
Develop new approaches to communicate benefits of nuclear science and technology. Participate actively in national and international activities related to nuclear science and technology. Provide platforms to enable young professionals to exchange and grow ideas in nuclear science and technology.
